Drop-in Storytime – Yes! We do have Story Time all Summer!

Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays
10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Share books, crafts, songs, rhymes, and movement.
For children Birth-5 years old
Emphasis on school readiness.

You do *not* need to be a Preston resident to bring your child to Story Time!!

Tom Brown has enjoyed making beer for several years.  He will present a light-hearted introduction to Homebrewing beer for the novice.  He will share some of his experiences and discuss the process of making your own beer.  Sorry, no free samples!!

Come listen, bring your family & friends, and learn from Commanding Officer, Captain Paul Whitescarver, as he shares the mission and role of today’s Submarine Force and Naval Submarine Base New London in our region.
Join us for a very informative and personal look from Capt. Whitescarver’s point of view. He served aboard ballistic missile and fast attack submarines and commanded USS SCRANTON (SSN 752) from 2009 to 2012. He has also served on the Joint Staff; the Chief of Naval Operations Staff; and the Commander, Submarine Forces Atlantic Staff. Please share in the pride that our men and women in uniform have done for all of us. Children encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be served.
