The library collected enough food donations during December to fill 4 large boxes - they were taken to a local food pantry.
If you would like to donate there is a drop off box at the library. We take food and other consumable donations all year. Hunger does not take a vacation. Items needed.

WARM UP AMERICA
Warm Up America! (WUA!) is an organization made up of volunteers who create handmade afghan blankets, clothing and accessories to help those in need. These items provide warmth and comfort to people who have lost their homes, fled abusive relations, or are being cared for in hospices, shelters, hospitals, and nursing home.
Last spring hundreds of our squares were sent to a teen organization that sewed them together for the homeless.
This year your Blankets will go to local shelters.
